The International Symposium on Separation Science 2024 is the 28th edition of the International Symposium on Separation Sciences (ISSS) series started in 1990 in Bled (Slovenia) as the continuation of a series of local seminars and conferences held in Zagreb since 1967. The first six editions were alternatively organized in Slovenia and Croatia and the subsequent editions were held as annual international meetings in Central European Countries, under the auspicious of the Central European Group for Separation Sciences (CEGSS). The symposium traditionally offers an opportunity to scientists and practitioners of high-performance separation techniques, such as GS, HPLC, and capillary electromigration techniques, to present and discuss the latest progress related to all aspects of these separation techniques, their hyphenation to other separation methods or spectroscopic techniques, and their applications in scientific and industrial areas.
ISSS 2024 is focused on fundamental and practical aspects of separation and detection methods as well as hyphenated, multidimensional, and miniaturized separation techniques applied for analytical, preparative, and industrial purposes, including new horizons and challenges in separation sciences.
